Careers

Small group. Unusually wide work.

Three companies, six products and a team small enough that nobody is more than one step from the person the work is for.

Nothing is open right now.

work_off

No vacancies are open today

Dorsko does not keep evergreen job posts open to collect CVs. When this page lists nothing, nothing is open — and the moment a role is, it appears here with the entity, the location and the contract type stated up front.

A speculative application is still worth sending. The group is small enough that a strong one has, more than once, been the reason a role was written in the first place.

sendSend a speculative application

hello@aboutdorsko.com — every application gets a human answer.

What working here actually involves

Some of what follows will rule people out, which is the point. A small bootstrapped group is a specific place to work, and it is better to know that before a first conversation than after a first month.

groups_2

Small, and it shows

The group does not publish headcount, but nobody should read three registered companies and seven products as three hundred people. Work is broad, ownership is real, and there is no layer between doing something and being responsible for it.

savings

Bootstrapped, no outside investment

Dorsko has taken no external funding. That buys independence and it costs runway: hiring happens when the work and the revenue support it, not against a raise.

public

Distributed across three countries

The group operates from the United Kingdom, Estonia and the United States. Work is remote by default and asynchronous by necessity, which means writing things down is part of the job rather than an overhead.

engineering

Operation first, software second

Every product here started as something a person did by hand often enough that encoding it became worth doing. Engineers sit close to the operation, and a good week often means removing a step rather than adding a screen.

shield_lock

Regulated-adjacent, and careful about it

The group handles identity documents and beneficial-ownership data. Care about accuracy is not a nice-to-have here — most of the interesting problems are about being right rather than being fast.

translate

More than one language in the room

Clients and content span English, Turkish, German and Estonian. Working comfortably across languages and time zones is normal rather than exceptional.

Which company you would join

Every offer names the registered entity you would be contracting with. Here they are, so nothing about that is a surprise.

info Not vacancies

Where a speculative application lands well

These are areas the group works in, not roles it is advertising. If your experience is here, an email is read carefully even when nothing is open.

code

Software engineering

PHP and MySQL platforms, document workflows, API integrations with registries and payment providers, and the infrastructure work of consolidating several applications onto one managed foundation.

fact_check

Compliance and verification operations

Company formation filings, post-incorporation compliance calendars, identity and beneficial-ownership checks, and the review step that sits behind automated extraction.

support_agent

Client operations and support

Working directly with founders who are incorporating in a country they do not live in, in writing, across time zones, on questions that usually matter to them a great deal.

edit_document

Content and localisation

Technical and regulatory writing in English, Turkish, German or Estonian — the kind that has to be accurate before it is persuasive.

route

How we hire

Five steps, in this order. It is written down so a candidate can hold us to it — including the part where a no arrives as a no.

  1. Application

A message to the careers address with whatever shows your work best. A CV is fine; so is a repository, a portfolio or three paragraphs about something you fixed.

  2. A reply, either way

Every application gets a human answer. If the answer is no, it arrives as a no rather than as silence.

  3. First conversation

A call about the work, the group and what you are looking for. Compensation range and contract type are discussed here, not deferred to a final stage.

  4. A piece of real work

A short, scoped exercise drawn from something the group actually does — paid if it takes more than about two hours. No take-home that quietly becomes a weekend.

  5. Decision

A decision with reasons, and a written offer that states the entity you would be contracting with and on what basis.

What is and is not on offer

A small company that advertises a large company's benefits gets found out in week one. So: both columns.

check_circle

What you get

  • checkRemote work as the default arrangement, from wherever you are lawfully able to work.
  • checkA contract with a named, registered entity — Dorsko Limited, Dorsko OÜ or Dorsko LLC — stated in the offer.
  • checkThe compensation range for a role given in the first conversation, not at the end.
  • checkDirect work on live products with real users, not a backlog queue.
  • checkA written answer to every application.

What we do not offer

  • closeEquity or share options. The group is bootstrapped and does not currently operate a share scheme.
  • closeA published benefits package. Arrangements differ by entity and country and are set out individually in the offer rather than advertised as a list.
  • closeVisa sponsorship. The group cannot currently sponsor work authorisation in any of its jurisdictions.
  • closeRolling vacancies. When nothing is listed on this page, nothing is open.
